If you’re planning a celebration for your staff, then a social dance works really well: it’s a leveller, it encourages management to get to know their teams, and visa versa. It can be simply pure entertainment, or there could be learning outcomes from the activity.
Team Building
For some, the fear of getting onto the dance floor is as great as making a presentation in front of a large audience. What we can do is create a happy-go-lucky environment for participants to build their self-confidence and believe that they ‘can do’.
It is an opportunity to test their leadership skills in pulling their troupe together to achieve goals and to have great fun in the process. We can assist in creating a bespoke team-building session based on social dancing.

These are very popular; we regularly provide Burns or St Patrick’s night dances for corporate clients. Whatever your theme, we have a repertoire of dances and tunes to suit.

Corporate Event Band Birmingham UK and Surrounding Areas
Thanks to the great road & rail network around Birmingham, the band can reach out to around 70 UK towns and cities in the surrounding English counties within the London, Manchester and Bristol triangle.
Prices range from £799 to £1500 depending on band size requirements and travel time from South Birmingham. Travel is calculated at 45p per mile return trip for 2 cars from our HQ in Birmingham.
Cater to all size venues and audiences
Our smallest venue to date was a restaurant: all the tables were fully booked, so the band had to set themselves up on a narrow wooden staircase at the end of the room. Tables and chairs were then cleared for the dancing – bringing to mind that moment in the Titanic movie when the 3rd class passengers are celebrating below deck!
Our largest corporate venue has been a marquee hosting 600 employees of a large food retailer.
Band Size
We recommend our ‘standard’ 4-piece band plus caller for most events, which gives a beautiful interwoven sound. However, our ‘budget’ 3-piece band plus caller package is more than sufficient for the dancing, if space, or cost, is an important factor.
Types of Music Offered
Our entertainers are professional musicians drawn from folk, rock & jazz backgrounds; as a dance band, we play traditional instruments to create an authentic world celtic sound.
Traditional Scottish Music
The band draws on the Scottish repertoire of traditional tunes for a Scottish themed event. The lineup is fiddle, accordion, guitar and bodhran.
Traditional Irish Music
As with the Scottish theme, we have Irish playlists with a similar instrumental lineup.
Barn Dance Music
For the barn dance, we can also draw on the American repertoire of fast reels.
Caller Option For Maximum Entertainment
The caller acts as MC to ensure that everyone knows what they should be doing (most of the time!) to optimise maximum entertainment.
