Dan The Caller

Dan Longley, a freelance motivational speaker and university lecturer, trained as a performance artist - he will use his skills and experiences to ensure an appropriate atmosphere is created for your event. Dan is also a mandolin player and he often joins the band to play tunes between the dances.

Ceilidhs might be thought of as traditional group dancing rooted to a particular dance floor, but Dan also uses simple dances from around the world to create magical experiences. If you so wish, he can design something special, with you, for the occasion.

Previous examples include: snake dancing through candle-lit gardens, Bottle dances, and Musical Chairs and Pied Piper dances for the children. We have even danced in silence, which is amazing to do!
